Going On Holiday While In Debt

 

Although you will have to change your Lifestyle during an IVA. Don’t think that just because you are in the midst of an IVA doesn’t mean you have to miss out on a yearly holiday.

It’s good to have a holiday, it releases stress and puts a spring in your step but many people believe that their IVA debt repayments will hold them back. They are wrong. Ok, so we are not talking about that once in a lifetime holiday to the Maldives, clearing your debt is more important than swimming with turtles, however why not try a little closer to home and try some of these money saving holiday plans…

  • Rent a caravan by the sea – for as little as £10 per night you can take the whole family to one of the UK’s numerous coastlines – children love the seaside and there is usually free entertainment upon the campsite.
  • Take a walk on the wild side and go camping – the Lake District is stunning this time of year and all you would need is a tent and a few supplies – don’t forget the marshmallows.
  • Why not go and stay with some relatives – it’s good to see your family and it will be a healthy change of scenery.
  • Reducing your IVA doesn’t mean you have to miss out on life’s pleasures – take this debt adviceand make the most of what the UK has to offer.
